A Bullock Permaculture Homestead Presentation; working with the natural landscape to enhance food security and create a resilient and regenerative community.
What would it look like if we did a really good job of creating a community that is thriving, where people are happy and our way of living is sustainable? If you look around our world for positive visions of a sustainable future there have been very few. But, for 30 years, the ideas of three brothers have moved beyond the dreaming stage as they designed and built the Bullock Permaculture Homestead on which to raise their families, strengthening their resilience while making a commitment not to squander Earth’s finite resources.
This summer, members from Gaiacraft, One Straw Society and Sunshine Coast in Transition Initiative spent a week at the Homestead to deepen their learning of Permaculture while networking with other bio-regional designers and community builders. This team from the Coast invite you to share in a potluck and an evening of inspiring slides, videotaped interviews, teaching moments and discussion.
