When we grow good quality locally-adapted seed for food production, and we share it with others, we are creating a caring, sustainable, and more resilient community.
Join Grace Lewis, a local garden designer and volunteer extraordinaire for the Davis Bay Elementary School Greenhouse project who will share her stories and passion for seed saving. In addition, Leonie Croy, a coordinator of the Gibsons Seed Sharing Library, will cover the basic seed saving skills you need to get started. Please bring your questions. You’ll go home with a free packet of seed and a handout. Both presenters are members of the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective.
