One Straw’s Shared Plate Potluck & AGM

One Straw Society has a long history of a good chin wag over shared meals. It’s what our towns were built on… solving the world’s problems with food, music and conversation! ??

Join your neighbours, friends and fellow gardeners for a Shared Plate Potluck and our Annual General Meeting. Come eat, dance, chat, and find out what’s been happening, what’s coming, elect our directors, and brainstorm together.

* TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26
* Dinner @ 5:30 (Come a few minutes early to set up your food)
* at the Roberts Creek Community Hall!
* Bring a healthy appy, main, salad or dessert to share (This is a plate dinner… no foods that require a bowl for this one, please!)

One Straw Society is a little grass roots organization focused on FOOD SECURITY here on the Coast, where we rely on food being trucked in by ferry. Seedy Saturday, the Fall Faire, the Ocean Vegetables Community Garden, and lots of other events, workshops, advocacy and partnerships are all made possible by volunteers building a sustainable, healthy community together!
