Think Tank?
The Food Systems Think Tank is made up of organizational, non-profit, business and community leaders who work within and develop food systems initiatives on the Coast.
This network keeps our community leaders connected. It’s supportive, collaborative, and a place to bounce ideas, funding opportunities, collaboration ideas, and plan so that we have broader reach, capacity, and impact.
Our Strategic Goals
Increase of capacity to produce more food locally and support efforts to help existing and new start up farms at a commercial scale
Improve the financial viability of the food and agriculture sector
Educate and empower people to make healthy, sustainable, and nutritious food choices
Build initiatives to create equitable access to healthy, culturally diverse, and affordable food
Nurture a healthy and sustainable food system that protects and regenerates our ecological world.
Identify opportunities for meeting objectives through shared efforts, resources, funding, knowledge and skills.
